Wannabe Writer..?

Not a lot of things come close to being as fascinating to me as being a writer, or having written something great and popular. There is a difference. Wanting to be a writer is a passion, maybe but wanting to have something already written by you is couch potato-ness. I have always wanted to have something written and published, but never actually put work into it.

I could very well pass it as an infatuation like a lot of things but it has stayed with me too long to be labelled as that. So taking the matter and my laptop into my hands, I have decided to scribble something. So what’s it gonna be about?

Well, In the past the number of times that I have written something (which can be counted on the fingers of one hand I guess), I have felt most good about the times when the writing has just happened via me and not done by me. Those few times, a very strong rush of ideas and urge to write something has flowed in me that I couldn’t help but write them down. I have put one such post from the past on this page as well (because why not? I feel good about putting that up) — ‘The Magic Rock’.

So I have decided that I wont force myself into writing anything. I will write when it wants to be written. This totally sounds both like a romanticized cliché writer or a lazy fuck.

So much about taking the matter into my hands!!
