Holding Hands

Walking hand-in-hand is such a powerful symbol of affection, bonding, partnership, and everything that love manifests itself into.

It is like sending a message in the universe that we are moving along together in this life, as a team,. Especially in a romantic relationship, where both the hands in the lock are equal(well supposedly!!).

It is not the same as parents holding the hands of their young ones, which is mostly out of practicality. And once the young ones grows into adults, that practice becomes obsolete, and also feels awkward.

But in romantic relationships, holding hands comes from the heart. Thus people do it for the sake of it not for the need of it, which brings the intimacy of it, and the mutual bond (well supposedly mutual!!), admiration, and other good stuff!!

And the occasional moments when the lock is made strong by extra effort from either or both the hands, almost confirming and affirming the bond, well that is something as well.
